Item from the Washington Post -- "New Post-Kaiser-Harvard poll highlights Democrats' problem with senior voters. -- Among seniors who say that they are very interested in the upcoming election, 51 percent prefer to see Republicans in control of the next Congress while 40 percent say they want Democrats in charge. Among all other seniors, it's about the reverse: 51 percent say they want Democrats to control Congress and 37 percent say Republicans. "
What does this say? The Democrats have to get busy and to stay busy, getting their seniors to vote, reminding seniors why it is necessary to vote. Why? If seniors stay home, GOP-Tea Partiers will win control of the Congress. These GOP-Tea Partiers have made it clear what their intentions are to senior -- to kick old granny and Uncle Ned under the bus. How many times do the GOP-Tea Partiers have to rail against the Social Security, Medicare programs, which keep seniors alive, keep food on the table and a roof over their head? The Democratic leaning seniors are out there. The Democrats must do a better job of getting their seniors motivated, to get their seniors to the polls.
