Item -- Tim Karr at Free Press: "Only 47% of the members of the Democratic 'Blue Dog Coalition' won re-election. 96% of the members of the 'Progressive Caucus' won re-election."
The fighters, who stood on old fashioned Democratic values, who stood up for the Middle class and the working class, and weren't afraid of running as Democrats, and who withstood the GOP smoke screen, and withstood the lies, and withstood the GOP campaign on non-issues, and the GOP appeal to fear, those Democrats with an informed constituency won. Those Democrats who did not keep their voters informed, who were afraid to define the differences between Democrats and Republicans, from day one of taking office this past term, for the most part, are now numbered among the defeated.
But there is another election in 2012. Those defeated Democratic Congresspeople could begin that delayed education process now, and make it clear to voters who Democrats are for-- the people, and whom the Republicans are for-- the corporate elite.
